Windfest Woofstock
Get ready for a paw-some time at Windfest Woofstock! Bring your four-legged friends and join the fun at our Dachshund Dash, where speedy little pups race for glory (and treats!). Don’t have a Daschund? No worries — all pets are welcome to strut their stuff in the Furry Friends Pet Parade, a parade of wagging tails, costumes, and furry cuteness galore.
It’s a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit — perfect for families, pet lovers, and anyone who enjoys seeing pups of all shapes and sizes stealing the spotlight. Treat your pets, snap adorable photos, and cheer on your favorites as Windfest Woofstock celebrates the joy of our furry friends!
Dachshund Dash
Ready, set, woof! The Windfest Dachshund Dash is a beloved 20-year Windfest tradition and one of the most adorable (and competitive!) events of the weekend! Watch as dozens of determined dachshunds race to the finish line in this tail-wagging showdown of speed, spirit, and short legs.
Whether your pup is a seasoned sprinter or just loves to trot for treats, this is the perfect chance to show off their personality and have some fun. Spectators will love every second as these long, low racers steal the spotlight and hearts of the crowd!
Bring your cheering squad, your camera, and your sense of humor — Dachshund Dash XX is a Windfest favorite you won’t want to miss!
Registration is $15 per pup. Dogs will compete in heats, with the winners advancing to the final round to determine the Dachshund Dash Champion! Winners receive trophies, doggie baskets filled with treats, swag and gift cards.
Furry Friends Parade & Costume Contest
Bring your furry companions and join the Furry Friends Pet Parade, a highlight of Windfest where pets of all shapes and sizes strut their stuff! From wagging tails to playful prances, this parade is a celebration of our four-legged friends and the joy they bring to our community.
After the parade, it’s time for the Costume Contest! Dress up your pets in creative, hilarious, or adorable outfits and watch them compete for prizes and bragging rights. Whether your pet is a fashionista, a superhero, or just loves to show off, there’s fun for everyone—both pets and their people!
Cheer, snap photos, and enjoy a tail-wagging good time at this family-friendly Windfest event!
Registration is free for the parade and contest. Dogs will be voted on by crowd cheers. Winners receive a ribbon and doggie baskets filled with treats.
Kite Flying Expo
Soar to new heights at the Windfest Kite Flying Expo! Join Fly It! Kites for twp days of colorful, high-flying fun. Watch the skies come alive with stunning kites and enjoy light up kites at night.
Fly It! Kites will have you watching kites dance across the wind-swept skies. It’s a perfect festival activity for kids, families, and anyone who loves seeing the sky filled with color and motion!
The kites will be flown over the festival grounds and can be seen from most all areas. There will not be interactive kites or activities, this is a special presentation of kites from local enthusiasts.
Mutton Bustin' Mania
Hold on tight and get ready for Mutton Bustin’ Mania — the cutest, most thrilling rodeo event for little cowboys and cowgirls! Kids climb aboard a woolly sheep and try to hang on for as long as they can while the crowd cheers them on. It’s all about fun, laughter, and bragging rights as young riders test their balance, bravery, and cowboy spirit.
Perfect for families and festival-goers of all ages, Mutton Bustin’ Mania is sure to be a highlight of Windfest — full of giggles, excitement, and unforgettable memories. Cheer, snap photos, and celebrate the courage of our tiniest rodeo stars!
